Frequently Asked Questions

IV Vitamin Therapy works by administration of vitamins and nutrients directly into the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system. This provides increased cell absorption and 100% bio availability of vitamins via IV infusion.

After an IV infusion, the vitamins remain in your system and maintain your levels for 2-3 weeks.

IV treatments are administered by Board Certified Nurses, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Physicians.

The frequency of IV Drip therapy is determined on a patient by patient basis, we take a customized approach to suit your individual needs. For preventative health and wellness, we recommend two IV drips per month to help balance out any vitamin deficiencies.

In some cases, with people who suffer from advanced stages of autoimmune diseases or cancer, continued IV therapy may be necessary for nutritional support. Some patients get progressively better and after a series of treatments they no longer require ongoing weekly IV therapy, only monthly treatments to maintain balance. Other patients need regular vitamin injections in order to help alleviate symptoms of their chronic or common medical conditions.

Diagnostic tests are available to better determine how often a person should be receiving treatments.

Infrequent complications from starting and IV access include bruising, swelling, or pain at the site of insertion which is minimized by proper post care instructions. Other rare complications include vein inflammation or damage to anatomical structures ar the site of insertion. Extremely rare complications can occur such as a blood clot.

We always ask about allergy information before providing any treatments. Allergic reactions to IV vitamin therapy are also rare but can occur if a patient has an unknown allergy to one of the nutrients used. All nutrient information about IV Drips is provided upon request. Reactions to the vitamins themselves are unlikely since they are all naturally present in the body.

There are many conditions that IV Vitamin Therapy can assist in treating; including autoimmune diseases, chronic ailments and common vitamin deficiencies. While it is famously used for detoxification and hydration to treat hangovers, it can treat so much more.
